My Diet
My three fundamental eating beliefs:
- The quality of your health is a reflection of the quality of your food. Yes, you really are what you eat.
- Bio-individuality. One person's food is another person's poison. Identifying food sensitivities and understanding your unique body type is critical for effective health.
- Diets don't work. You must tune into what your body needs and start eating for energy!
My Diet
I get asked all the time what I eat and the eating guidelines I use on a daily basis. Ultimately, my food philosophy is EAT FOR ENERGY! I had to let go of the 'diet mentality' because food to me is not a mathematical equation. It's not about denial, discipline, will-power or calorie-counting. Food to me is fun and tasty!
Eat for Energy is the idea that you focus on foods you CAN eat, on foods that are best for your unique body type, and give you the fuel you need to get through the day. Remember, just because these are the foods that fuel me, they may not be what's best for you.
